Google Ads for dentists, built on procedure intent

An emergency search and an implant search are different patients with different economics. We give each procedure its own campaign, message and landing page, track every call and form back to the search that produced it, and manage the account on your cost per new patient.

What dental paid search includes

Structure
Campaigns split by procedure
Waste control
Weekly search-terms review and negatives
Landing pages
One per procedure, call and booking on each
Tracking
Calls, forms and offline conversion import
Fee
15% of spend or flat tier, whichever is higher

The problem

Ad spend goes out, and nobody can say what came back

Dental ads fail in predictable ways: one campaign for every procedure, the homepage as the landing page, no negative keywords, and clicks counted as success. The budget burns on searches that were never going to book, and the report still looks busy.

  • Spend climbs while booked consultations stay flat.
  • Emergency, implant and cleaning searches share one budget and one message.
  • The account counts clicks, not patients.

Structure decides the result, not the budget. We run ads as one channel of a dental marketing agency that measures cost per patient, so the ads, the pages and the tracking answer to the same number.

What we build

Campaigns built around the searches that book

Each procedure has its own bid economics, so each gets its own campaign, ad and page.

  1. 01Emergency dentistHigh intent, ready to call now. Worth a higher bid, a click-to-call ad and a tight radius.
  2. 02Implants and cosmeticConsidered, higher-value procedures with a longer path. A dedicated page that answers cost and process questions.
  3. 03“Dentist near me”Local general-care intent. Tight location targeting and location assets so the nearest patients see you.
  4. 04Weekly negativesWe read the search terms every week and cut the ones that will never book, so the budget reaches patients ready to call.
  5. 05Tracking to real enquiriesCalls and forms tracked by campaign, plus offline conversion import from your practice system where it fits.
  6. 06Pages and organic, joined upAds share one keyword map with search visibility for dental clinics, and land on procedure pages from our dental web design work.

How we price it

Management priced on what a patient costs, not on clicks

Our management fee is 15% of ad spend or the flat tier, whichever is higher, with a $750/mo minimum for ads on their own. Under roughly $20k a month in spend the flat fee is usually the better deal for you, and we tell you which applies before you commit. It is the same model behind all our PPC managed on cost per lead, with dental procedure structure on top.

  • Ad budget paid to Google directly, separate from our fee
  • The account stays in your name
  • Month to month, no lock-in

How it runs

From account review to a rebuilt account

  1. Step 01

    Review the account

We read your current campaigns, search terms and tracking, and show you where the spend goes.

  2. Step 02

    Wire the tracking

Calls, forms and booked consultations tracked before we change bids, so we have a real baseline.

  3. Step 03

    Rebuild by procedure

Separate campaigns, ads and landing pages for each procedure the practice wants more of.

  4. Step 04

    Prune and report

Weekly search-terms review, monthly cost-per-patient report against last month.

Proof

What a procedure rebuild looks like

For London Dental Specialists, a specialist practice in London, UK, the account had run in-house with no conversion tracking beyond phone calls, and broad match pulled in irrelevant searches. We rebuilt it into intent-specific campaigns for implants, cosmetic and emergency care, added structured negative lists, and set up offline conversion import from the practice management system so booked patients, not clicks, steer the bids.

We publish outcome numbers only with a period and a source you could re-run. Until then, we describe the work.

Yes, when the account is built around procedure intent with real conversion tracking and a landing page per procedure. They fail when one campaign runs everything to the homepage with no negatives. Structure decides the result, not the budget.
